No publicity is bad publicity…except maybe for the publicity company. 2.February.2007
So by now, you’re probably heard that Boston thought it was covered on bombs disguised as Light Brights. I don’t care what the spokes woman from Turner says. In the end, was it worth $750,000 to get national coverage for your late night cartoon for two days? Definitely! Just wait till we see the ratings. For the two schmo’s who got thrown in jail for the night, I sure hope that Interference Marketing pays their legal bills and I would be darn ticked right now. But Interference does need to take some responsibility for not telling Boston police until 4:30, classy.
In the end, it’s a mistaken identity between guerrilla warfare and guerrilla marketing. If Interference’s is to complete its mission to be “the best Guerrilla and Alternative Marketing company in the world”, they have their work cut out for them.
