My Favorite Widgets 26.October.2006
Sing it with me! These are a few of my favorite Widgets. We’ve got image resizers, calendar tools and whiskers on kittens.
- iCal Events Wins my all time favorite Widget award. It just shows you the next few days worth of events and what time they start. Of course, you can set it to exactly how many days and which calendars you want to see events for.
- Image Shackle Ok, so I’m kind of partial since my friend and co-worker developed it. But it is a real awesome Widget, it lets you quickly resize (ie. not wait for Photoshop to load) an image file or just find alternate dimensions, keeping the same ratio, of two numbers you insert.
- Ãœbertragen Many people don’t have reason to quickly upload files to a particular FTP server on a regular basis. But if you do, this Widget is for you.
- Radar In Motion Stop reloading Weather.com 10 times a day just to see if that storm is close yet. Radar in motion makes you feel like you have your own meteorologist. Even PC users can use it since there is a Yahoo! Widgets version too. Use that right next to the Weather widget and you’ll never watch the news again.
- Stocks Ok, it comes with OS X and its probably one of my favorite right now, because I am on an investment kick.
